About Mines
Mines is a pick-a-tile game. Twenty-five tiles hide a number of mines that you choose, from 1 to 24, and every tile you open that turns out to be a star raises the multiplier on your bet. You decide when to stop: cash out to take your bet times the multiplier, or open another tile for more — if you open a mine, the bet is lost. More mines means fewer stars and a much faster climb, and every round is provably fair.

How does the Mines game work?
Choose how many mines hide among the 25 tiles and press Bet. Then open tiles one at a time: every star raises the multiplier, and you can cash out whenever you like to win your bet times that multiplier. If you open a mine, the bet is lost.
How many mines should I choose?
It changes how fast the multiplier climbs, not the game's return. With 1 mine most tiles are safe and each star adds a little; with 24 mines there is one star and it pays over 24x. Every star's chance and multiplier for each mine count are listed under How to play in the game.
Is there a trick or pattern to win at Mines?
No. The mines are placed at random before the round starts, every tile is equally likely to hide one, and cashing out at any point returns the same percentage of the bet on average. No pattern, corner or order of tiles changes the odds. Only play with money you can afford to lose.
Is Mines fair?
Yes. Before each real-money round you see the SHA-256 fingerprint of the secret seed that places the mines. After the round the seed is revealed, and your browser can recompute where every mine was under Provably Fair.
Can I play Mines on my phone?
Yes. It runs in any mobile browser with nothing to install, with big tiles and the Bet and Cash out buttons right under the field.
